Pump installation: If your home or business is in need of a new pumping system, Southern Arizona Plumbing will install the following types of pumps:

• Sump Pumps are small pumps in the basement of a building that keep your basement or crawlspace from flooding. The pump sump basin collects groundwater from the area surrounding the building’s foundation. When it is full, it triggers the pump to remove the water into your yard, storm sewer, or other dispersal device.
• Sewage Ejector Pumps: Like a sump pump, an ejector pump collects water with the intent of draining it out of your building. The difference: an ejector pump accumulates waste water from washing machines or bathrooms before below-grade bathrooms. These pumps are connected to a sanitary sewer line like the rest of the plumbing fixtures.
• Well Pumps: If you are located outside of the city, your water probably comes from a well. Which well pump you need depends on the depth of your water table. Ground wells in areas with a stable water supply near the surface will need a shallow well pump, while a deep well pump can draw water from up to several hundred feet deep. Many Pima County residents have deep well pumps. Other options include a submersible well pump, which can push greater volumes of pressurized water up from within a deep well.
• Water Booster Pumps are designed for areas with low or inadequate water pressure. Using underground or surface water supplies, they help to increase and/or stabilize the water pressure for your home or office.
